Physical Education Teaching Endorsement

Idaho State University Physical Education Students learn hands-on skills in class.

The Idaho State University School of Education offers a teaching endorsement in physical education that will provide you with the skills and knowledge to teach K-12 physical education. Our dedicated professors will instruct you in teaching techniques and physical education content. You will graduate ready to help your students grow and create healthy lives.

Physical education endorsement marketable skills include:
- Coaching
- Demonstration and program design implementation
- First Aid and CPR Certified
- Health and wellness

- Instructional and motivational skills

- Computer-based skills

Idaho State University Admissions Process

For Undergraduate Students:

Create an account with Idaho State University
Materials needed include:
- Transcripts or GED
- Official ACT or SAT scores
- $50 application fee
  
  (waived for graduates of Idaho high schools)

For Transfer Students:

Must have a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA in fourteen (14) or more credit hours to apply.

Fill out the application
$50 application fee (waived for graduates of Idaho high schools)
Submit final official transcript(s) from each college attended. If currently attending, in-progress transcripts are accepted, but a final official transcript must be sent upon completion of coursework.
