TEAS Exam
Before You Take the TEAS
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is taken by nursing school candidates. Please contact your academic advisor if you have questions about your nursing program application and the TEAS exam. If you are planning to take the TEAS exam for the Associate Degree in Registered Nursing or for Practical Nursing, please contact the College of Technology for questions and to schedule your exam.
Below are some details to note as you prepare to take your exam.
- Create a student account at www.atitesting.com prior to test day and bring your username and password with you.
- Schedule your exam at the campus location of your choice.
- Pay the $115 exam fee during check-in at the Testing Center.
- Bring your non-expired government-issued photo ID (i.e., driver’s license, passport, or green card) with you on the day of your exam.
- A photocopy or picture of the ID is not considered a valid form of ID.
- The printed temporary driver's license from the DMV is not considered a valid form of ID. Please schedule your exam when you have the permanent card.
- If you do not have a valid form of ID you will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
- Plan on 4 hours maximum to complete the TEAS exam.
