not as small

The Green Move-Out Program is a campus-wide sustainability and community service initiative dedicated to promoting environmental responsibility and supporting our community. ISU is proud to partner with Goodwill Industries to maximize the impact of our efforts.

Each year, as students prepare to move out of their dorms, we encourage them to recycle their unused or gently used items by dropping them in donation boxes. This event not only helps reduce waste and minimize our campus's environmental footprint but also provides much-needed resources to local communities. By participating in the Green Move-Out, students have the opportunity to make a positive impact, fostering a culture of sustainability and social responsibility within our university community.

a certificate with an orange border at the top with the ISU logo, the words

The Idaho State University Green Workspaces Certification Program recognizes workspaces across our campuses that implement sustainable practices in their day-to-day operations. Workspaces that participate in this program are recognized for their current practices, have opportunities to learn how to be more sustainable, and directly contribute to Idaho State University's achievement of our sustainability goals.

To be certified as a Green Workspace, complete the Green Workspaces Certification Program Checklist. Workspaces receiving certification through this program are recognized on the Sustainability website, featured on Instagram, and receive a certification to post in their workspace. A copy of the completed checklists should be returned to sustainability@isu.edu.
