Revision of ISU Internal Grant Programs
In an effort to better align the internal grant programs with the goals of ISU and to improve faculty success with external sponsorship of their research and creative activities, the current internal grant programs will be revised throughout the upcoming academic year. The revisions will focus on supporting and growing the submission of competitive proposals to acquire more externally funded research projects, and continuing to support smaller research and creative activity projects which play a vital role in the university’s mission.
- The Faculty Seed Grant Program is discontinued. These applications were previously due during the Spring semester. The Office for Research is currently working on creating two new grant programs that will replace this grant. We will share information about the new internal grants when it is available.
Changes to the internal grant programs were guided by recommendations from the Research Council. The Office for Research will continue to work closely with the Research Council over the upcoming months to develop and roll out the new internal grant programs. Updates will be sent out via email and posted on the OR website.
