Our personal training program is designed to help you reach your health and fitness goals with individualized guidance, accountability, and support. Whether you’re new to exercise or looking to take your training to the next level, our certified trainers can create a plan that works for you.


 
How to Get Started

Complete the Personal Training Inquiry Form. Once we receive your form, a trainer will contact you to discuss your goals and schedule your first session.

Training Packages & Fees

All sessions are 45 minutes. Fees are due at the time of service and can be paid by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay. Packages expire three months from purchase.

ISU Students (with valid Bengal ID)

  • Fitness Introduction (assessment): $25
  • 1 session: $30
  • 4 sessions: $100
  • 8 sessions: $190
  • 12 sessions: $275

ISU Affiliates
Faculty, staff, alumni association members, spouses with Bengal ID

  • Fitness Introduction: $30
  • 1 session: $40
  • 4 sessions: $140
  • 8 sessions: $240
  • 12 sessions: $320

Community Members (Non-ISU)

  • Fitness Introduction: $35
  • 1 session: $50
  • 4 sessions: $180
  • 8 sessions: $320
  • 12 sessions: $415

Note: ISU students paying full student activity fees do not need a separate Rec Center membership. Affiliates or students not paying fees must purchase a membership in addition to training packages.

Training Options
  • One-on-one training: Fully personalized sessions
  • Small-group training: Work out with a friend for motivation
  • Each session: 45 minutes including a mix of cardio, strength, and flexibility exercises based on your needs

Meet Our Trainers

Joe Frey

  • ACE Certified Personal Trainer, working toward CSCS
  • Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from ISU; currently pursuing MSAT/DPT
  • Experienced with a wide variety of clients and passionate about helping people meet their fitness goals

Laura Wightman

  • Over 30 years of personal training experience
  • Discovered fitness through her own journey and loves helping others feel healthier and happier
  • Keeps up with the latest fitness trends to provide effective, safe, and enjoyable workouts

Cameron Davis

  • ISSA Certified Personal Trainer with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from BYU–Idaho
  • Experienced working with clients of all fitness levels, from beginners to competitive athletes
  • Passionate about helping others move better, feel stronger, and stay motivated toward their goals
