About our Tennis Lessons Program
One-on-one or semi-private instruction available for all ages and abilities. Lessons are taught at ISU’s indoor Tennis Center at the Student Recreation Center. Our ability to offer private lessons is based on instructor and court availability.

Scheduling Your Private Lesson
Instructors communicate directly with participants/parents to set up a time that works for all parties. Court availability varies by time, day, and academic term. The courts are not available during ISU Varsity Tennis Team practices, but generally, they are available after 6pm Monday through Thursday. Other times may be available.
About Our Instructors
Oliver Good is Idaho State’s Head Men’s Tennis Coach. Good has been at ISU since September 2022. Previous to coaching at ISU, he was an assistant coach at UNLV. Good played and graduated from Weber State in 2014. During his collegiate career, Weber won the conference championship in 2014. During the 2013-14 season Good was named team captain and Team MVP while boasting a doubles ranking as high as No. 43. Good then returned home to Australia and served as a tennis coach for the Victorian Tennis Academy from February 2016 to August 2021. He also served as the Director of Tennis for Jim Courier Tennis in 2015 and 2019. Good served as the Managing Director of College Recruit four four years before joining the staff at UNLV in August of 2021. He is a certified Gold Level Coach by the International Tennis Federation. Chloe Stoddard has been teaching tennis for seven years. She began playing at age ten, training everyday and competing in weekly tournaments. Chloe has ranked as high as No. 3 in the state. She has countless wins in her books across many matches and USTA-sanctioned tournaments. Chloe played Varsity Tennis for Highland High School in Pocatello, qualifying for State all four years, winning both the 5A team and individual district championship titles three of those years. She was team captain, a 5A State medalist, and currently holds the most varsity wins of any Highland High School tennis player. From little kids to adults, she loves helping each player develop their game with lessons centered around the technicals and tacticals of the sport. Chloe can be reached at 208-226-4316.
Tor Lynn specializes in player development, tournament preparation, and skill enhancement for all age groups. With over 15 years of experience playing and coaching tennis, Tor brings a wealth of expertise to athletes of all ages, helping them develop the skills and techniques needed to excel in both tournament and recreational play. Passionate about player development, Tor specializes in guiding athletes to unlock their full potential. Tor has served as the IDTA Area League Coordinator and Junior Team Tennis (JTT) Coordinator, playing a key role in promoting the sport across eastern Idaho. She successfully organized numerous junior tournaments, including those with the highest participation numbers in the state. In addition to tournament management, Tor currently coaches high school tennis and local junior programs and remains deeply engaged in the broader tennis community—supporting adult, college, and junior initiatives. She has also been at the forefront of establishing middle school tennis for the first time in eastern Idaho. As the President of the Portneuf Valley Tennis Association (PVTA), Tor is actively involved in junior development both as a coach and as a tournament director, continuing her mission to grow and strengthen tennis in the community.
Fees
Private lessons are typically pay-as-you-go, but for prepayment options, chat with your instructor. Arrive 5-10 minutes early to have time to pay at the front desk of the Student Recreation Center. Cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard accepted. We do not offer refunds. Speak with your instructor about their individual cancellation policies.
