Polarizing Tape

6H10.20 - Polarizing Tape

Overview:

This polarized tape can be used to create interesting effects when used with polarized sheets.

Materials:

Projector, polarized tape, projector mask, two polarized sheets of plastic, and a piece of cardboard with the middle of it cut out.

Setup:

Place one of the polarized sheet on the flat surface of the projector then cover it with the projector mask. Place strips of tape on the piece of cardboard randomly across the hole that was cut out. Placed this over the mask. 

How to:

Place the second polarized sheet over the taped cover, and then rotate it and see the different polarized effects.

Safety:

1) Do not look directly into the light of the projector.

2) The bulb does get hot so be careful.
