ISU Department Information
Courtesy Official Business Passes are issued to departments and employees designated by Parking & Transportation Services. Official Business Passes may also be purchased for by the department for employee usage.
Where you can park with an Official Business Pass:
- General lots
- Reserved lots
- Housing lots
- Official Vehicle spaces
Important to know:
- An active, valid permit must be linked to the vehicle and used with the Official Business Pass.
- Passes are valid only while conducting official university business in a separate location from your typical workspace. Passes may not be used to park outside of the building your workspaces is located in.
- Abuse of the pass may result in a citation and/or revocation.
- Lost or stolen passes must be reported immediately to Parking & Transportation Services.
Departments may purchase Day Use Permits for visitors, guests, and events.
Permit Options & Costs:
- General Lot Only - $3 per permit (also available as PDF)
- Reserved Lot Only - $4 per permit (also available as PDF)
- Medical/Clinic Passes - $4 per pad of 50 passes
- Valid for one day only
How to Use:
- Write the current date (MM/DD/YY) clearly in bold permanent marker.
- The date must be easily visible to Parking & Transportation staff.
- Do not write over mistakes, this could cause a citation to be written.
- If an error is made when issuing a permit, please contact the Parking & Transportation Office at 208-282-2625. A replacement will be provided at no additional cost.
Important Rules
- Writing the date in pen or pencil may result in a citation.
- Any attempt to alter of forge the permit (e.g. erasing, scratching out, or modifying the date) will result in a $80 citation.
Launched Fall 2024 – Patients, clients and visitors can now enter their vehicle information, and have your department authorize their parking with T2 MobilePay.
Where to Use It:
- Patient/client/visitor spaces
How it Works:
- Text or Scan - Text the space's P-Code to 25023 or scan the posted QR code.
- Enter Details - Input your license plate and select your time.
- Authorization Code - add the department issued authorization code and click Pay.
- That's it - you're ready to park!
