Idaho Academy of Physician Assistants Conference: Didactic year students are required to attend the IAPA Conference each April in Boise. This multi-day event offers medical education sessions and networking opportunities with professionals and peers. Students are responsible for covering transportation, lodging, meals, and registration fees. To help offset costs, the PA Student Society (PASS) organizes a fundraiser each year.

The Caldwell campus operates through a public-private partnership between Idaho State University (ISU) and The College of Idaho (C of I). As a private institution, C of I does not receive state funding to support facilities or other expenses related to educating ISU PA students. As a result, all students at the Caldwell campus, regardless of Idaho residency, follow a single fee schedule.

Employment Policy

Employment during the Didactic Year is discouraged and strictly prohibited during class hours. During the Clinical Year, employment is strongly discouraged and not allowed during scheduled rotation hours.
