Leadership Transition and New Home for the Instructional Technology Resource Center

Academic Affairs is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Bob Houghton as the new Director of the Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC). In addition to his new leadership role, Dr. Houghton will continue serving as a faculty member in the College of Business.

With a career that bridges both the corporate and academic sectors, Houghton is widely recognized as an authority in information technology and cybersecurity. His dedication to education and leadership has been demonstrated through his impactful service as department chair and associate dean in the College of Business, where he fostered an environment of innovation, learning, and professional growth.

Houghton's career exemplifies the powerful combination of deep technical expertise and a passion for teaching and leadership. We look forward to the vision and experience he will bring to the ITRC in this new role.

The ITRC also recently traded the Oboler Library basement for bright new digs in the College of Education, Room 356—and all are invited to help celebrate at an open house.
