ISU College of Business Professor Receives Fulbright Specialist Program Award

The U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board has announced that Dr. Ruiling Guo, Professor of Healthcare Administration at the College of Business, has received a prestigious Fulbright Specialist Program award. Recipients of Fulbright Specialist awards in the U.S. are selected on the basis of academic and professional achievement, demonstrated leadership in their field, and their potential to foster long-term cooperation between institutions in the U.S. and abroad.

This achievement highlights Dr. Guo’s dedication to excellence and international collaboration with the expertise in the field of healthcare administration education and scholarly research on evidence-based management in healthcare decision making. Dr. Guo will be visiting the University of Malta over the summer to embark on an exciting collaborative research project with renowned professors there. This partnership promises to foster innovative research and strengthen academic ties between the United States and Malta.

Guo would like to thank Dr. Shane Hunt, Dean of the Business College at ISU, Dr. Steven Berkshire at Central Michigan University, and Dr. Michael Kennedy at the University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center for their great support during her Fulbright grant application competition.
