Enrollment Management Team Leads Retention Conversation at National Conference

October 23, 2025

Staff from Idaho State University’s Division of Enrollment Management recently co-facilitated two workshops at the national EAB CONNECTED25 Conference in Orlando, Florida, highlighting the impactful work ISU is doing to advance student success and retention through ISU Navigate.

The workshop, “Turning Data into Action with Campaigns and Interventions,” brought together higher education professionals from across the country to explore how institutions can move from data to meaningful action. Idaho State’s Tiffany Sorensen, associate director of student success and retention, and Buck Benson, ISU navigate system administrator, shared how the university leverages ISU Navigate to identify students and connect them with outreach and resources that help them stay on track and thrive.

Co-presenting alongside EAB Leaders, Sorensen and Benson guided participants through two hands-on workshops to design data-informed campaigns and interventions. Their participation not only positioned ISU as a leader in student success and retention but also showcased ISU’s growing culture of collaboration, evidence-based decision-making, and dedication to student success.

This is the second year in a row that ISU has been recognized nationally by EAB for the tremendous impact we are having on student success. In 2024, ISU was awarded the Return on Education award
