Call for Proposals, Fall 2026!
I. Master Teaching Series: Sharing Pedagogical Excellence ($200 stipend)
The Master Teaching Series invites faculty to lead sessions on teaching practices that support student learning and success. We welcome proposals that align with key dimensions of teaching effectiveness, including course alignment, instructional methods, and student outcomes.
Based on feedback from faculty surveys, we are especially interested in proposals on:
- active learning and meaningful class discussion
- effective asynchronous teaching
- alternative grading and efficient course design
- practical uses of AI in teaching and assessment
- supporting first-generation students and other diverse learners
Format: Single-session workshop or presentation

II. Faculty Lecture Series: “One Thing Everyone Should Know About…” ($200 stipend)
What is one idea in your field that everyone should encounter? The Faculty Lecture Series invites engaging, accessible presentations for a broad faculty audience. This is an opportunity to share the heart of your discipline or research.
Possible approaches include:
- a big idea, theory, discovery, or question
- a book or piece of scholarship that changed your thinking
- a favorite lecture topic you love to share
Join us in fostering intellectual curiosity and cross-disciplinary conversation across campus.

III. Faculty Learning Communities: Collaborative Growth ($600 stipend)
We are seeking facilitators to lead Faculty Learning Communities—sustained, collaborative groups that meet regularly to explore a shared interest related to teaching, learning, student success, or faculty development.
As an FLC facilitator, you will:
- guide a small group through a semester-long exploration of a topic
- foster reflection, conversation, and peer learning
- support colleagues in connecting their teaching values to practice
Whether your focus is a pedagogical challenge, student support, or another area of faculty development, we welcome your ideas.
Format: Ongoing facilitated meetings throughout the semester
