Update to ISU Tuition Reduction beginning Fall 2026

NEW Program Limitations

Dependents tuition reduction will require a current FAFSA with submitted verification documents. The reduction will be applied after federal grants (Pell, Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG)) and ISU-funded internal Idaho resident grid or transfer grid scholarships are credited to the student's account.

All Dependent forms forms must be fully approved and submitted to HR at least 14 days before the first day of the semester.

Peer Institution and State Education Employees tuition reduction will only apply to courses within in-person and non-impacted programs. A list of excluded programs are detailed below.

Peer institution and state education employees currently enrolled in an online or excluded program will be granted the $5 per credit plus the $20 per semester rate for their current program through FY2027.
