Check Your Financial Aid Status
If you have been admitted to Idaho State University, you can track your FAFSA Processing through MyISU by using the My Financial Aid card.
You must be admitted to ISU to track your FAFSA processing through MyISU. If you have not yet been admitted, work directly with the Admissions Office to apply to ISU or call (208) 282-2475. Shortly after being admitted to ISU you will have access to MyISU.
We encourage you to frequently review your status online before contacting Financial Aid.

Instructions for Viewing Financial Aid Status in MyISU:
Students can access MyISU if they have been admitted to ISU. If you are having trouble logging in, for assistance, contact IT services at (208) 282-HELP (4357) or help@isu.edu.
Once you are logged in to MyISU, discover the "My Financial Aid" tab. Then click on the "My Financial Aid" link.
There are 3 sections of MyISU you will likely need to view regarding Financial Aid:
Financial Aid Requirements
Under the “My Financial Aid” card on MyISU, you can view remaining application requirements, access online documents to complete, and view financial aid requirements history.
- A green checkmark under 'Satisfied Requirements' indicates a requirement has been received (may still be in review); an exclamation mark under 'Unsatisfied Requirements' means something still needs to be submitted/completed.
- Incomplete requirements (exclamation marks) will delay your financial aid award.
- Students will receive an email notification reminding them to view updates on MyISU.
If you have completed Entrance Counseling and your Master Promissory Note, but the requirement isn’t satisfied in MyISU, this will change when the Financial Aid office receives proof of completion in mid-July.
My Financial Aid
Under the “My Financial Aid” card on MyISU, you can:
- View award information when processing is completed
- Review the status of the application
- See Satisfactory Academic Progress
- View holds
- Accept awards
- Once an award has been determined, students must access MyISU to review and actively Accept certain types of their Financial Aid Award.
Work-Study Balance
The Work-Study Balance section of MyISU displays the remaining work-study balance.
Balances only appear after the award-year employment begins.
