Spring 2026 ASISU Election Timeline

Candidate Information Meetings:

January 26th, 2026 - 6 p.m. North Fork Pond Student Union 

January 30th, 2026 - 6 p.m. North Fork Pond Student Union 

January 30th, 2026 - Filing becomes available after the meeting. ASISU Candidate Packets available online. 

Candidate Packet Submission Deadline:

February 13th, 2026 - Deadline to submit ASISU officer application, unofficial academic transcript, deposit sheet, campaign expenditure sheet and envelope, and signed petitions to the Student Affairs Suite located in the Pond Student Union Room 204. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The Online Voters Guide candidate statement must be emailed to elections@isu.edu by 5 PM.

Mandatory Candidate Meetings: 

February 17th & 19th, 2026 - 6 p.m. North Fork Pond Student Union

Candidates must attend one of these meetings. Candidates will proof the ballot, and election rules will be reviewed. Active campaigning begins immediately following the meeting. 

Mandatory Senator Speeches:

March 3rd, 2026 - 12 p.m. Quad Lounge Pond Student Union 

March 5th, 2026 - 12 p.m. Quad Lounge Pond Student Union 

Mandatory Executive Ticket Debate: 

March 6th, 2026 - 12 p.m. Quad Lounge Pond Student Union 

Online Voting: 

March 16th, 2026 - Online Voting Opens - 8 a.m.

March 19th, 2026 - Online Voting Closes - 5 p.m.

March 19th, 2026 - Unofficial results will be announces by approximately 7 p.m.

Campaign Material Removal Deadline: 

March 20th, 2026 - All campaign materials must be removed by 10 p.m.

Expenditure Sheets: 

March 20th, 2026 - Campaign expenditure sheets must be turned in by 5 p.m.
