CS Teaching Assistance Lab Services

The CS department provides one-on-one teaching assistance in which CS Teaching Assistants (TAs), hired by the department, are available to assist students. TAs are available in the CS Teaching Assistance Lab room (230 Colonial Hall Pocatello) or in Idaho Falls TAB 240. Course syllabi typically list the TAs who are assigned to a course, their contact information, the hours they are available for assistance, and their locations. However, most of the TAs are able to provide assistance at least to the lower-level CS courses, so if you have questions, please feel free to stop by the CS Lab rooms. Note that the Lab rooms can also serve as a place for CS students to work at a desk between classes. You may also arrange with a TA to do a Zoom session, depending on their schedule, but in person teaching assistance generally works better.

To schedule or find a time when a TA is available check the CS Teaching Assistant Schedule and the CS Lab Map for the Pocatello and Idaho Falls Locations.
