In-person workshops are offered in Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and Meridian. Webinar options are also available. Continuing education credits are supported at 3, 6, 8, 12, and 15 credit/hour increments. We are committed to securing unique training opportunities provided by clinicians with a wide range of clinical experiences and specialties. Presenter Biographies
Adriana C. Zarate is a bilingual/bicultural counselor and owner of Zayorga Counseling Services, LLC, and a PhD student in Counselor Education & Supervision at Idaho State University. Licensed in Idaho and Utah, she provides culturally responsive care for Latine individuals and couples and offers clinical supervision and training on ethics and multicultural practice. After moving from Florida to Idaho/Utah, she noticed major rural access disparities and language barriers—fueling her passion for equity-centered care.
Monique Woodson is a second-year doctoral student from Las Vegas, NV. She is passionate about empowering future counselors and advocating for marginalized communities. With a strong background in multicultural counseling, clinical supervision, and behavioral interventions, she is committed to fostering inclusive learning environments that promote student success. Her expertise extends to research on the Strong Black Woman schema, stress, and coping among Black women, as well as the factors influencing Black students' success in counseling programs. As a mentor and leader, she strives to integrate theory into practice, ensuring that students develop the skills and confidence to excel in their careers. Through advocacy, education, and research, she is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the field of counseling and counselor education.
