Threads of Kindness
The purpose of Threads of Kindness is to promote a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals of all skill levels can participate in and enjoy craft hobbies, such as crocheting, knitting, sewing, and quilting etc. To provide educational opportunities and support for beginners through peer mentoring, hands-on instruction, and curated resources (video tutorials). To build a creative community where members can share their skills, learn from one another, and enjoy the process of crafting together. To engage in charitable initiatives by creating handmade items (blankets, hats, and socks) for donation to organizations we'll work with, including the Portneuf Medical Center, local homeless shelters, and others. To encourage the value of handcrafted work as a meaningful form of expression, stress relie and service to the broader community.
