Asef Mohammad Redwan

Dr. Redwan is an environmental engineering scientist with an emphasis on microbiology and metal-bacteria interactions for bioremediation, critical material recovery and net zero applications. He has led three US Department of Energy projects as Principal Investigator with $968,265 at Idaho National Laboratory (2021-2024); two of them were in collaboration with Idaho State University. Dr. Redwan received his MS and PhD degrees in Environmental Engineering from Texas Tech University, USA in 2017 and 2021, respectively, and was awarded Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship there. He has published in reputed journals such as, Bioresource Technology, Environmental Science & Technology. Dr. Redwan’s goal is to make vital contributions in the energy and environment sector in the US and worldwide by solving critical water issues and promoting sustainable green technologies.
