Order In Person or Online
The Bengal ID provides students with many benefits. There is no cost for your first Bengal ID. You may order it in person at the Pocatello, Idaho Falls, or Meridian campuses. Your ID is available on the first day of the month that your classes begin (August 1, January 1, May 1). You must be registered for classes to receive a Bengal ID. We encourage you to order your card online for faster service.
Faculty/Staff: Your Bengal ID account is typically created in our card system (CS Gold) one to two days after your ISU start date. If you require a Bengal ID for access before your start date, email infodesk@isu.edu to inquire about an exception.
Employee spouse Bengal IDs are available to current benefited employees (faculty/staff) via email request to Campus Connection at infodesk@isu.edu using your isu.edu email. You will be asked to provide your Bengal ID number and contact information for your spouse (email address, date of birth, and phone number). Your spouse will be asked to come to the Campus Connection to have their photo taken. Your Bengal ID account will be cross-referenced with that of your spouse. You may also email Campus Connection to request deactivation of an employee spouse Bengal ID. There is no cost for a first employee spouse Bengal ID. There is a replacement cost for lost IDs.
The employee spouse ID will expire after three years. Upon/before expiration of the university employee spouse ID, the employee may email infodesk@isu.edu from their ISU email account to request that the employee's spouse ID be renewed for another three years. Campus Connection will verify that the employee is currently employed and the spouse ID will be renewed for another three years.

Online Photo Submission Guidelines
YES!
- Solid, plain, light background
- Head and shoulders must face forward
- Face centered; with eyes, features, and top of shoulders clearly visible
- Current color photo taken within the last 6 months
- JPG format, file less than 3 MB in size
NO!
- Blurred or visible background objects
- Hats, sunglasses, costumes, or pets
- Hand gestures, signs, props
- Photo filters or portrait mode
- No school/professional photos
- No use of filters to alter images
Review and Approval Process
Make sure you can access your ISU email (contact the IT Service Desk for assistance). An email will be sent to your ISU account indicating whether your photo is approved or denied. If your photo is approved, you will be sent an email with pick-up instructions. If your photo is denied, you will be asked to submit another photo.
Pick Up Your Bengal ID
Visit us at any of the following locations to pick up your Bengal ID. Remember to bring a valid government issued photo ID (i.e., U.S. Driver’s License issued by DMV, Security/U.S. Green Card, Passport book or U.S. Military ID Card)
